The New Albany Founders Day “Community Connection Award” was established in 2008 to recognize and
showcase the outstanding work and services performed by an area non-profit civic group that serves our
community and surrounding area.

About the Chamber of Commerce
The New Albany Chamber of Commerce has 450 members representing the wide spectrum of businesses and civic groups that enjoy serving the
New Albany, Ohio community. Officially formed in 1996, this is one of Central Ohio’s fastest growing Chambers of Commerce. This planned
community soared to national attention due to the extensive high quality development in residential neighborhoods and corporate business campus.
Members gain business knowledge and personal growth opportunities through participating in special programs. Monthly Chamber meetings are
typically held on the third Thursday of the month. Meeting locations are viewable on the calendar section of their website. Reservations are
required for most and can be made online.

Eileen Leuby recently became the Membership Coordinator for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning
Commission. MORPC’s Membership Coordinator is responsible for engaging MORPC’s local
government members through networking, education, and direct services in transportation,
housing, sustainability, and policy.
Eileen served as the President of the New Albany Chamber of Commerce since it was founded in
1997. During her tenure, the New Albany Chamber grew from 25 members to over 500 today and is
positioned among the top ten chambers in Central Ohio. She currently serves on the Economic
Development Commission for the City of New Albany and completed a six-year board seat as vice
chair of membership for the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio.
Eileen's education includes degrees in Business Administration, Public Administration and a
Master'sdegree all from Miami University. She also completed the U.S. Chamber’s Institute of
Organizational Management Program at the University of Notre Dame in 2001 and AP Certification
from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio. She received the Outstanding Chamber
Professional Award for the State at the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Chamber of Commerce
Executives of Ohio and is frequently a conference presenter.
Eileen has lived in New Albany for the past 19 years and has three daughters: Rosalyn, 18, a
freshman at Miami University; Jacquelyn, 21 who just graduated from John Carroll University; and
Madeline, 25, who lives and works in Chicago as a senior account manager for the Creative Group.
