The New Albany Founders Day “Community Connection Award” was established in 2008 to recognize and
showcase the outstanding work and services performed by an area non-profit civic group that serves our
community and surrounding area.

About the Chamber of Commerce
The New Albany Chamber of Commerce has 450 members representing the wide spectrum of businesses and civic groups that enjoy serving the
New Albany, Ohio community. Officially formed in 1996, this is one of Central Ohio’s fastest growing Chambers of Commerce. This planned
community soared to national attention due to the extensive high quality development in residential neighborhoods and corporate business campus.
Members gain business knowledge and personal growth opportunities through participating in special programs. Monthly Chamber meetings are
typically held on the third Thursday of the month. Meeting locations are viewable on the calendar section of their website. Reservations are
required for most and can be made online.

Eileen Leuby joined the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission in August 2013 as the Membership Coordinator
and is responsible for engaging MORPC’s local government members through networking, education, and direct
services in transportation, housing, sustainability, and policy.
Eileen served as the President of the New Albany Chamber of Commerce since it was founded in 1997. During
her tenure, the New Albany Chamber grew from 25 members to over 500 today and is positioned among the top
ten chambers in Central Ohio. She served on the Economic Development Commission for the City of New Albany
and was vice chair of membership for the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio.
Eileen's education includes degrees in Business Administration, Public Administration and a Master's degree all
from Miami University. She also completed the U.S. Chamber’s Institute of Organizational Management Program at
the University of Notre Dame in 2001 and received the Outstanding Professional of the Year 2011 from the
Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio. In 2013, she was selected Outstanding Citizen by the New Albany
Eileen has lived in New Albany for the past 19 years and has three daughters: Rosalyn,19, a freshman at Miami
University; Jacquelyn, 22 a Financial Service Analyst for Shore Morgan Young and Madeline, 26, Assistant Vice
President of Accounts for the Creative Group (Chicago).
